I’m Alana, the owner + creator of Mystic Jagger. It is with the fullest of hearts, I welcome you to this little uptopia of an Apothecary. My Apothecabin is nestled in the gardens cottage that is placed on the grounds of one of Scotland’s most ancient castles. Tucked amongst the Scottish moorlands + forests of Ayrshire, it is filled with magical healing + where your wildest dreams can come to life!
How We Got Here!
On Mabon of 2020, after many years of cultivating, nurturing + loving her into existence, Mystic Jagger was born.
From the tinniest of cubs, I felt the deepest connection to animals, Mama Earth + all things ‘other worldly’, becoming known to loved ones and even school teachers as ‘Willow the Wisp’. As a little bud, wandering the forests and moors of the Scottish farmlands I lived on as a child, I always felt the most intense pull towards the spirit world, folklore and witchcraft and had often at times became cautious of the knowing’s I felt. Realising later in life, like so many of you, I’d been practising the craft in so many ways without even knowing! Creating magical potions from the weeds that scattered the hedgerows, sneaking away to have long chats with my animals as the best friends they were and granting wishes to whoever was up there as I sat amongst the mossy forest bed. Throughout my teenage years, being the odd girl wasn’t as appealing or celebrated as much anymore so the rejection of my spirit world ways appeared.
In 2013, after escaping a challenging relationship, I experienced a life altering car accident where I suffered from physical and mental injury. After many hospital visits and doctors opinions, I knew there had to be more out there to heal from this trauma and all I could think about was my days as child being wild and free with Mama Earth as my number one fan. On my quest to heal, I was formally introduced into the world of Reiki, Ritual Practise + Witchcraft. For the first time, I finally felt I had arrived home! I had arrived 'BACK' home to Mother Earth!
The Journey
After many years of research, education in many forms + what feels like mountains of spiritual development, (Usui Reiki, Celtic Reiki, Past Life + Ancestral Healing focusing on trauma, Counselling/Coaching, Aromatherapy, Massage, Herbal Healing, Ritual Coaching and the list goes on) I am now a qualified Reiki Master Teacher,Counsellor/ Life Coach, Energy Healer and proud practising Witch, following the craft in the way that works for me! I draw so much loving energy + gratitude from guiding other souls on their path to healing too.
Mama Moon Always Has Our Back
Throughout my own healing journey, the mystical and magickal ways of our moon’s cycles, ritual practise and the wise women who came before us, living from the lands, leaning in to the ancestral wisdom they left us, delving into the traditions of folklore + folkmedicine, dabbling only slightly in the complex world of herbalism developing my own potions to heal ourselves back to alignment, became my greatest + only true love!
From this deeply profound passion for potion + remedy creation, rituals, natural healing + supporting others on their journey to loving themselves for exactly as they are, Mystic Jagger Apothecary was born!
What We’re All About!
I use Ritual Magick + practise to guide you on your journey to reconnect to yourself. Mystic Jagger is a magical little place where you are given the permission to be exactly yourself! To rewild, to reintroduce yourself to your true howling divine feminine ways! A place where we help guide you to give yourself absolute permission to relish in sacred self love! A place where guilt and shame of not loving yourself exactly as you are, are turned on their head.
Each one of Mystic Jagger’s Potions + Rituals supports the physical, emotional + magical elements of our soul, as the perfect addition on our journey of self-healing + connecting with the true essence of who we are outside of the day to day!
